Dear Madam, Dear Sir,

on behalf of the Slovak Foreign Policy Association (SFPA), we would like to invite you to the 18th Central European Energy Conference (CEEC XVIII): Tackling Energy Security and Transition Challenges. The conference is scheduled to take place on 2-3 December 2024 at the Crowne Plaza Bratislava.
The Central European Energy Conference traditionally focuses on global challenges in the energy sector and fosters regional dialogue. We would like to draw your attention to the flagship publication, World Energy Outlook (WEO), which will be presented at the conference by Mary Burce Warlick, Deputy Executive Director of the International Energy Agency. Her presentation will include an in-depth audit of Slovakia's energy sector, which faces dynamic changes, particularly in light of the ongoing war in Ukraine.
This event will also offer an opportunity to hear various experts' perspectives on energy security and climate policies. We invite you to participate in panel discussions covering topics such as sharing nuclear energy expertise, shifts in the natural gas supply market, modernizing electrical grids, and climate policy. We will also explore the development of wind and geothermal energy in the region.
The 18th annual Central European Energy Conference will be conducted in English, with simultaneous translation into Slovak provided.
To participate in the conference, we kindly request that you complete a short registration form:
